The 147 has 2.0 petrol and 1.9 TD diesel are the pick of the bunch. The diesel has more punch and economy and is a good buy for people who are looking for second-hand. But if you want to go all out, the 3.2 litre V6 is a gorgeous unit. It is expensive to run and the chassis is almost too powerful.
