This is one of the most popular compact premium cars, the rivals are like the BMW 1-series and Volvo C30. This audi has plenty of space at the rear, should fit 3 people without a problem. There are also a sport version which called Audi S3, is got a sports suspension and bigger alloys than the standard A3. S3 has 225 bhp and only avaliable on petrol engine.
There are five petrol and 3 diesel engines to go for. The 1.6 entry engine are not the best to get, acceleration are bit slow. For fuel economy benefit, the 2.0TDI DSG diesel offer good mpg and great performance. If you don't care about the fuel bill and want to go very quick. The 250bhp 3.2 litre V6 are very quick. Some version offer good DSG option.
