Conditions

When you confirm your acceptance of these Conditions by placing a [insert tick symbol] in
the box, we undertake to promptly process and assess your finance application. Once we receive your application we make enquiries on all our applicants, including searching records held by Equifax and/or Experian (or any other credit reference agency that we may use from time to time) and checking your details with CIFAS (or any other fraud prevention agency from time to time).

Please note that the credit reference and fraud prevention agencies will keep records of our search. Your records with the credit reference and fraud prevention agencies may also be searched by lenders to whom we submit your application for finance. In confirming your acceptance of these Conditions you consent to us disclosing details of your application to such lenders and credit reference and fraud prevention agencies. Any lender with whom you complete a formal agreement will also disclose details to such agencies of how you conduct your finance agreement with them. This information may be used to help the lender and other
organisations assess the financial risks of dealing with you, and to help prevent or detect fraud or other crimes and recover debts and for statistical analysis about credit and about fraud. If you give us false or inaccurate information and ether we or any lender to whom your application is submitted, suspect fraud we and/or they will record this. Please also note that we may also divulge your personal information if we are required to do so by law.

Once you have submitted your application for finance we shall process it immediately. If your application for finance is accepted at this initial stage, then we shall notify you using either e-mail; SMS messaging and/or by post. Once you have our confirmation that your application has been accepted at this initial stage, then you must advise us of your choice of car (and all relevant details that we may ask for about the car) within 14 calendar days. Once we have all the relevant information from you about the car then we will advise you promptly if your lender is prepared to offer finance to you against that particular car(s). If your application is accepted by the lender at this final stage, then we will send out to you (by post) your finance agreement to sign and return to us at the specified address. Please note that you finance agreement will be between yourself and the lender. You have a separate contract with us (Car Loan 4U Limited) to administer your finance application.

If your finance application is not accepted at any stage, then we shall also notify you in writing as soon as practicable. The decision of the lender is final and there is no right of appeal. Please note that Car Loan 4U does not in any way guarantee or represent to you in any form that your finance application will be successful, and that the final decision on the success of your application will be determined solely by the lender.

Car Loan 4U wishes to provide you with a very high standard of service. If you have a complaint regarding an administrative matter, then please write to Customer Relations Department, Car Loan 4U Limited, Beechfield House, Winterton Way, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK11 OLP. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with our response you can ask us for details of the FOS (Financial Ombudsman Service).

If you request Payment Protection Insurance information any necessary information about you to will be passed to the insurer who accepts your proposal (such insurer will be nominated by the lender to whom your application is submitted) in order for them to be able to arrange and administer the requested plan and for the purposes of underwriting, claims handling and fraud prevention (which could include passing details to other insurers) You have a right to ask for a copy of your information if you apply to us in writing and to ask us to delete or correct any information we may hold about you that is wrong.

This agreement is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
